After the intial enthusiasm to start this blog, I kind of slowed down... Not sure why?probably got caught with other preoccupations. life is juggling between work and home and my two brats who take away all my time without leaving any "my time". Nevertheless, I enjoy my time with them . I manage to sneek some time to read books while my little one happlily sleeps in my lap. Along with stitching, I have also revived my book reading habits. Currently , am hooked to "Suitable Boy" by Vikram seth.  My stitching is lagging but will catch up soon. This book is a tome with about 1300 odd pages but is very interesting with lots of characters and small happenings in people's life . It is like those mega TV serials which I used to love watching in my teens. So this book will give me some good company for few months now...

For a long time I have been thinking of doing something that gives me small pleasures in life which is otherwise missing in the day-to-day mundane routine.. Thought that blogging and sharing such pleasures with like minded people would double the pleasures.....
